NAP's GUIDING VALUES

Our guiding values are grounded in Indigenous knowledge and traditions and is what steers us through a system that was not created by us or for us.

We respect the talents, perspectives, cultures and differences of all stakeholders.

Based on mutual respect and benefit, relationships are a dynamic, interconnected process.

Responsibility comes with accountability to honor values and to act ethically and with integrity.

The responsibility to give back is continuous, yielding ongoing impacts that leverage the original act of philanthropy, for maximum benefit and sustainability.

Partnership is a mutual process. We are committed to modeling collaboration at all times.

We are committed to providing quality programs and services that incorporate Native knowledge and contexts to our members and stakeholders.

We are committed to listening, soliciting feedback, and sharing knowledge for continuous improvement and to empower our stakeholders. We believe that values-based, indigenous giving practices can inform the broader field of philanthropy.
